yes, a jib furler would help depower it both the hobie16 and 5.2 have sails designed for booms and i think the nacra570 is boomless, so i doubt they...

there is a period nacra manual somewhere in the tech files the 5.2 was made from 1975 through to about 1985 the early models only had 1 set of trap...

very similar to the NZ 8.5mtr, (27'10") rule catamarans....but those are not easily trailered and cost quite a bit more...though they have a very good...
