Agree on the comp tip being too bendy, but if you do end up with a comp tip there is way of significantly reducing the bend by adding an on the fly ad...

I paid way way way less than that for my last comp tip - talk to Jeremy at Surf City catamarans, he often has stuff like that and is very fair to deal...

I have P16 - take the rudder system off when you tow. The rudders bounce like crazy otherwise. It is easy to take em of and put em back on -easier ...

Yeah H16 and P16 hulls are nowhere near similar in my eyes - no real banana shape to Prindle 16. just my 2 cents

I have an 84 also, using the cheek blocks in the correct manner does not present any issues even without blocks on the cringle. thread em and yank em ...

More rake on Hobie's reduces the pitch pole frequency, pulling the main sail force back away from the bows. MOre rake demands more rudder adjustment ...

Buy a continuos double trap from Murrays - I had the same on my H16 and it works great, one eye at the shackle and two coated trap wires
