Setting the bar high...
...or very low, depending on how you look at it. Twenty plus years ago Damon was made aware that I'm a double-dumbass when it comes to computers. That has not changed, and he will probably regret having me as a tester. He's got a real challenge on his hands if he can make this thing Jerome-usable.
I've been poking around for about a week...even started to post but backed out because of some things that were confusing to me (like signature and attached file not showing up in preview pane). After reading TomInPA's comments in another recent thread, I feel more confident that I should dive in, start screwing up, and post some stupid questions/comments, so, in no particular order, here goes...
What the heck is that little 'P' down there at the bottom of this box while I'm typing?
I REALLY like the way you can leave an unfinished post and it automatically saves revisions that you can restore without starting over. It's nice to be able to come back later and polish up an otherwise dumb message...sorta like the way I use plenty of caulk and paint over crappy carpentry.
Thank God I don't have to figure all this out on a smartphone since I'm still not dragging that ball-and-chain around.
Curious to see if my signature will show up.
Stand by...more idiocy to come.

Affirmative on the signature!
Just clicked on the HOME button above and there's a bunch of text in Latin or some such furrun language. (Now I'm thinkin' Damon is just messin' with me!)

Damon, you are a saint for putting so much time and effort into this site redo.
St. Elmo may be the Patron Saint of Sailors, but St. Damon is the Patron Saint of Beachcats! All hail St. Damon (AKA Brawny Man)!
