Traveller
Just installed new double nylon braided mainsheet on my prindle and I noticed that the rope was getting stuck in metal traveler rollers when I was either pulling in boom or moving out boom. Why is the rope not moving smoothly thru the traveller? It's a low stretch rope which was recommended for main sheet. Does this rope need to break in? Traveler in good condition and sheaves roll fine. Thanks

Is this just a semantic error?
Nylon is the preferred line for dock lines and anchor rodes due to its high stretch factor.
For running rigging you want a low stretch line. Dacron is a trade name for polyester, which has been the recommended
sheet and halyard line for some time. There are newer lines that exceed polyester for strength and abrasion resistance.
They can be rough on the hands.
I run a 1/2 mainsheet with blocks to match. I love it.
