Hi all,
Working on my SolCat 18 and wondering what the best lacing material is best for the tramp. Has anyone used flat webbing to lace the tramp? I've used it for climbing anchors and enjoy it's strength and versatility but I'm not sure if it's appropriate for a cat tramp.

Question 2 is rudder pins. My boat came with 1/4" stainless carriage bolts with flat washers and nylon lock nuts. Clearly not original but, seemed to work for the previous owner. What is the preferred material for rudder pins and what is the correct size for this boat?

Thanks

Flat webbing lacing should be fine as long as it goes thru the grommets. Factory rudder casting pins were 1/4" x 7" stainless steel with holes top & bottom for split ring or cotter pin. Pete
