Things are slow on the Supercat forums. Can anyone confirm that a SC 17 and SC 19 (standard) have the same mast length?

Posted: Apr 29, 2009 - 09:57 AMThere were 2 Super cat 19's the original one had the same mast as the 17' which was 28' 9" the later version the Super Cat 19XL had a huge mast 33' and the boat was widened to 8'6".

i have stepped both and i know the 17 was possible for a single (strong) adult to step without mechanical advantage
the 19 i stepped was a 2 person job for sure (unless you are hulk hogan)

This is also the info I have. I’m surprised of two things. First the 19 mast was that short, and second the 19XL is so huge.

They are the same mast, only difference is the 19 has diamond wires. Sails have a different cut.
The mast for the SC19xl was the same mast used on the SC20. I had a 19XL for a short period of time, fast, smooth boat. Should have kept
