I have a Solcat 18 with all rigging and components, except that I'm missing the base (heel) of my mast. I haven't been able to track down a Solcat 18 mast base anywhere, went down the street to Murrays to see if we could fit another to it, but the shapes look fairly different. Was recommended to post here and see if:
1. Anyone has mast base that would fit a Solcat 18 or an old/broken Mast that it could be removed from
2. Anyone has ideas on how to modify an easier to find mast base to fit the Solcat 18 mast.
Any and all help is appreciated!!
Try Pete Begle on this site he may have a mast base for your boat. He has lot of parts listed under pbegle

i need a swivel base for the mast anyone can help? also looking for the cast tip of the tiller cross bar??
I may have the mast base on an old front beam, will take a photo tomorrow.
I'm not sure about the "cast tip" what does this part do exactly?

isnt a solcat base similar to the early nacra base, I have 5.8 base somewhere.I will have a look today
