Silly question but I was wondering if the rudders for a Hobie 18 are a different size from those for a Hobie 16? Any help welcome--am in market to buy some used EPO rudders for Hobie 16 and see some juicy Hobie 18 rudders for sail and was wondering..

thanks
reuben

Rudders are identical, one hole same, other hole different. Pete

Thanks--so if I buy a used one from a Hobie 18 assume that I would need to fill one and drill a new one then..

AFAIK, the only hobie rudder size that is different is the 21 SE which has a longer rudder than all the others. This was needed if they were running a spinnaker. If not running a chute the standard rudder is sufficient.
