WOW, did that ever clean up nicely. It is amazing what some sweat equity will do for the curb appeal. The non skid looks practically new.
I assume that is SS, looks like 304? Did you use heat to get the bends to go easier?
I'm just waiting for the last few parts from Salty Dog Marine to start reassembling my 5.7
I cleaned up the hulls & pressure tested them a few weeks ago. Sealed the mast & all the tramp track rivets, though I think I may poke the silicone out of 1 or 2 holes on the tramp tracks, so as to leave an easy way for the hull to equalize pressures that will occur with temperature changes.

My neighboor made the support. He has a huge shop and is a retired engineer from Ford Motor Co. He did use heat to create the bend. Then tapped the holes for the bolts. He's making one for the rear now with "flaps" that go down both sides of the hull for xtra support.
As for the sweat equity...a power washer gets most of the credit.
I have restiched the tramp myself. Have not installed it yet (waiting on the hull repair). We'll see how it holds.

looks good
i hand stitched the tramp on my old 5.2 as well, the mesh would appear to last almost forever, even if the stitching dies a uv death after 10years of exposure
i couldn't find anyone with a commercial sewing machine so by hand was the only way
used waxed whipping twine and a big needle for the 3 easy bolt-rope sides of mesh-mesh and a hand awl to punch through the very tough, old plastic sheet along the back of the tramp
