Prindle 16 jib cleats
Hi Everyone,
I'm fixing up a 1978 Prindle 16. It was sitting on my dad's property for many years and it has been the target of thieves. The boat itself is in good shape, and they didn't steal the mast, boom or rudder assembly. But by looking at the shrouds they certainly tried.
I am in need of jib cleats. I'm wondering what you all are using these days that are available?
I bought replacement barberhauler cleats, but it looks like, according to the parts list, there is a base that they sit on. Are those still available anymore?
Thanks

If you call them (Murray's) some there can answer your questions. They are very helpful.

May be worth finding an old beater P16 sitting in a field and buy it as a parts boat. I know here locally (Houston TX) there is at least one guy that buys up old beaters and parts them out. See if there is someone like that around you?
