Does anyone have any details pics of a fully rigged Prindle 16? I just bought one and it's missing the sails and blocks and such. I'm trying to get a good idea of what I need to get her sailing.

DO you have any loose blocks that came with it at all the you could take a picture of and we could see what you do and don't have? or is there no blocks at all.

as well as something like this for the jib clew http://www.murrays.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=28-0371&Category_Code=C-J&Store_Code=MS however it does not have to be this you can make something from a couple individual blocks. In fact the manual for the boat says to just tie them to the clew with a short bit of line. but is is a more modern version I guess.
As I have a P18 I don't want to tell you about the halyards as I might get it wrong I'll let someone else

I used the p16 manual and was able to figure the missing pieces I needed that way. It took me about an hour and a half to rig it by the manual. I think there is a copy in the tech help gallery. I got mine from the prindle site and printed it off.

Brandon, One of first things you'll need to know for sails is what jib you'll need. If you have turnbuckle at end of forestay and rope halyard with hook, you'll need ZIPPER luff jib. If no turnbuckle and chain plate at bridle, you'll need wire luff jib (like H-16). Pete 909-800-5237
