I was finally able to rig up P16 for the first time since I got her and for the first time in a long while. When I got to the main I noticed that the top block was running perpendicular to the boom and that the shackle was was fixed through the frame of the triple blocks not through the shaft like some other blocks. The lower triple has a swivel but I can't figure out the top block...I think there was or should be a swivel there or a twist shackle.
Suggestions?

That is the way they came back then. You can add a swivel, the one that I like is the one with a quick release. $25-$35 at Murrays depending on which one you like.
