Hi!!

I´m a new member from Spain of this great forum and i need your help...

I´m restoring an old nacra 5.8, i think is from 1985- 1990 i´m not really sure..... and someone stole the nacra´s brindles and the shrouds. I would like to make it and i need the length measures about these parts...

Anybody knows it??

Thanks very much sailors, from the Mediterranean Sea!

buenos días!
i measured 3 sets of 5.8 shroud wires and they are 264.5 inches (672 cm) pull to pull. pull to pull is from the center of the holes on each end.

do not try to swage a marine eye by hand, it will pull out. have a rigging shop swage it.

i can get you the bridle measurement in a week.
hope this helps.

forestay is 241.5 inches (613.41 cm) pull to pull.
trapeze is 246 inches (624.84 cm) pull to pull

sorry but i don't know of any cheap traveler cars. the new type is 'captive ball' but you need the older type that does not have captive balls. make sure you buy the older type if you buy one. the new type will not fit your track.

Antonio, I have a traveler that would probably fit that model. Check your messages, (log in, then click on "messages" at the top left corner.

Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things.

so simple sentences are enough!

thank you for your help
