Salty dog has two different 5/32 fork ends. One is a milspec for about $20, one is a marine fork for $51. They are both stainless and have a safe working load of 1100 lbs.

Anybody know the difference?

The Marine fork is one of a kind and comes with a very expensive pin and cotter pin.

Here's the similar fork from Murray's for $16.50.

Yeah, that's an expensive cotter pin! I wonder if it's just an error on the website. Aircraft spruce also has the milspec for about $16

One is a milspec

I'm not so sure it is an actual Milspec, the page says, "milspec type", which can mean almost anything, as long as it resembles a certain product.
Anything we ever used that was actual Milspec contained the milspec #.
I'm thinking one is a cheap import, think Chinese, (which may be quite sufficient), the other is probaby US built, with union Labour.
Call them up, & ask where each product is from, & get a UPC #, you can trace that to manufacturer.

The aircraft spruce one is definitely actual milspec for about the same price. Not saying that validates it. A call to SD may be a good idea.
