What's the best lubricant for an old brittle jib zipper on a Nacra 5.2?

If teeth are already starting to fall off, it's probably too late for lube to help. Luckily it's not expensive to get a zipper replaced.

If it's in good condition but hard to zip, try cleaning with soap and water then lube with McLube.

you can also use much cheaper silicone lube. it's about 1/4 the cost of mclube and works almost as well... but not as long lasting.

i spray my zippers (while raising the jib) about every month or 2, when they get tough to zip.
