found a good deal on a hobie 16 mesh tramp, will it fit my hobie 14?

Not even close.
However, we did a race a few years ago on a 16 and the tramp fell apart the day before. We used a 14 tramp and had to basically weave a BUNCH of rope between the tramp lines so we wouldn't fall through. Looked really funny, but we made it on the water.

The only thing that will fit from a 14-16 or 16-14 is
