I bought some white replacements from a popular marine store a few years ago and now they look worse than the nearly 30 yer-old originals I replaced.

I just installed two 8" Hobie hatches that look this those on my 21. They look great and no more sand stuck in the threads of my old screw in type access ports... 😉

I did notice a little water that drips pass the twist and lock handle into my hulls but very little drips through it.

Thx Bill!
I can live with a couple of drips.
Did you orient them with the hinges inboard?
Do you occasionally have to sit on them?

I installed these on my Prindle 19. They’ve been working with no leaks. I placed the hinge towards the back thinking I’d have easier access while on the water. I don’t know how well they will hold up sitting on them. Haven’t had to yet. Been out in 15-20 mph winds open ocean heavy chop.
