Getting the Hobie 18 ready for the summer. I wanted to put reinforcement plates on both sides front crossbar and on the shrouds but have only been able to come up with 4 of them. So I was thinking of just putting the ones on the outside front crossbar and shrouds. My thinking is when you flying a hull the outside would have most stress the inner would just be compressive load and use the other 2 for shrouds am I thinking right or missing something ?
Thanks

I have 2 reinforcement plates you can I have, I don’t own my 18 anymore so they are basically taking up space in my spare parts box. PM me your address and they’re yours.

That’s paying it forward. They are hard to find, & sell for around $20 each, when you can find them.
