Dart 18 Sails

I agree that finding used Dart sails is akin to finding hen's teath. I own 4 Darts and a Prindle 18-2, but I much prefer sailing my Dart 18 in the Santa Barbara Channel. I have a Glaser square-top Pentex mainsail with matching jib but you're talking big bucks!!! Most sail lofts can make you a new sail if you send them your old one for measurement purposes. I'll look to see if I have an extra sail that I can let loose. I need to check my inventory to see exactly what I have that can meet your needs. Also, I'm not familiar with sails from other catamarans that might work on your Dart. Remember, the Dart utilizes a loose-footed mainsail, so there's no boom so you need two holes in your clew plate, one for your mainsheet hook and the forward hole for your mast rorator line.

Yes they are in Europe, but they ship worldwide.

LOOKING AT YOUR dART PHOTO ,CANT SEE JIB-MAybe yor sails are ok? take photos. in my experience Windsport overcharges especially on exchange rates. when i ordered stays from ebay they were for a dart 16 instead of Dart 18, no credit offered for their mistake![email][/email]
