A different version of Pivmatic?

I came across this item today on West Marines site, looks to be a slightly different version of the Pivmatic used on Nacras.
I have not actually handled it, but they both seem to use Clamcleat brand aluminum cleats. This one also claims to be adjustable for release load.
It might not be as good on round tiller tubes, but would fit well on the square section tubes found on Darts.
It's also 1/2 the price of Murrays aluminum Pivmatic.

This is the stock rudder release on the original Vectorworks Blade F16.
