Looks to be in pretty rough shape. FWIW, that platform is no longer competitive in the F18 class.

I had one, and it was a pitchpole machine. Not near enough buoyancy in the bows.

A bit rough but not that bad, for $500 extra and some TLC you have yourself a pretty fast ride!

Wasn't the biggest issue the rig? I get how it isn't competitive with an Infusion but perhaps on par with a Hobie Tiger??

It look pretty much like an Inter 18. What are the differences?

It's similar to the inter. Different boards and different hull shaping. Less bow volume.

The feedback I have heard from previous owners has been universally negative.

Not a bad price at a glance, but could need some real money thrown at it if maintenance has been deferred as much as the photos suggest. Add in the cost of a trailer, box, trax and I think you could find better deals in the classifieds here.

I was asking because I had 2 inter 18. One I sold in july and I still have one. I'm looking for something smaller since I'm most of the time solo.

One of my boats had hulls that were pretty worn out like that and a little wet sanding and machine polishing brought them back pretty well. I think that boat still has a bright future if someone wants to put in a little elbow grease.

it's more than "a little"

sandpaper, dust and glass (breathing) filters, gelcoat, gloves, time, enrgy, time and time... some skills and experience are bonus

put in a little elbow grease.

It was an OK boat... but where we sail, it is windy and choppy... the Tiger did a better job in these conditions.
