I have to do a claim on my 2001 i20 but all parts have been upgraded to make it a N20 as far as steering system, rigging, snuffer etc
the wind bashed both sides of my hulls pretty good against the shore and needs a ton of fiberglass work.

Insurance wants to know if i want the boat or not.
They offered to let me keep it for $2500
So i will sell it for $3000 ($3500 w/ trailer and sailbox)

Carbon mast
main sail-perfect condition
Jib- perfect condition
Spinnaker w/ carbon snuffer- barley used
3 dagger boards
3 rudders
ALL rigging. plus a complete extra set
trapeze x4
no rips of tears in tramp

basically a complete race boat--only with dented and dinged hulls

If no one wants this i will just let insurance take it. But i figure if i can make 500 off it I will.

Would like to sell the whole package complete...

email me if interested. and i can get you my cell.

Thanks,

I will keep this up for a week. Then giving it to insurance.
This is a heck fo a deal for someone with more time to part it out. I have seen carbon masts going for what im asking....

The mast alone should be worth more than that.

It hard to say what the mast is worth. I have read plenty of old posts with a value of $5k, but I have not gotten one single inquiry on mine at that price. I have heard of several around for a much lower price.

On another note, who do you use for insurance and did they give you any problems with a claim?

Yea i have seen masts go for a TON.

That is why i am trying to make someone a deal... before i let insurance have it. If i had more time i would part it out...

i figure 3 dagger boards and 3 rudders will fetch someone around 3000
not to mention steering linkage. Snuffer. sails...

i use state farm and no issues. the agent is a personal friend of mine so he always pushes things through πŸ˜‰

I'll be down there there week of the 23rd picking up a Nacra 5.7. If you will sell the mast separately I'll buy it from you.

Regards,
Dave

Hehe, i was hoping for closer to 1000-1500. But looking at some other posts that might be wishful thinking.

No worries. 1500 is all i have left after buying the 5.7. I can't make a fair offer. The mast itself is worth 3k. Go for it if you can.

All replies answered too.
I will wait until the 23rd. If i dont get what im asking its the insurance companies.

I really think someone with more time would double their money--i would do it if i had more time.

Great and congrats. Please get in touch with me. I keep a list of all Nacra 20 owners in North America.
