Bill Quit bitchen about no beach wheels. Get the chicks to carry the boat to the beach..
OK OK OK Show up.. Look at the rust on the hitch. -$100 for that.. Comment on the wierd angle on the mast support.. _ $100 for that cuz you (Bill is) olde and it will not work for a solo mast raiser thing-a bob.. Do the sob story and say that it may be a bit too big for the wife to sail. (Really looking for a 17) - $100. Now we bee talken. prolly get him to feel sorry for ya cuz there are no beach wheels... and that stupid red stripe. (Nacras are the red stripe boat). So we are down to $500ish. OH.. All I brought with me is $500.. (CASH).. Mr B.. Do I have to give away all my lines ?? Went to Morgan Hill CA today and helped out a poor sole who had a old H14. Soft hulls but has some stuff that might help the guy in the other thread here... Yes left him some wine but left with the $50 in my pocket.. If your staff needs some training I have time in May. Fly them out and we can put them up in the chicken coop here. Nobody complains cuz the wine cabnet is full. CHeers Hal

well I tried to make it mine, but missed it by a day or two- I think it ended up in Sarasota; I didn't lose totally, as I did close the deal today on the other Prindle 19 for sale in Destin. I will be bringing it to Bay St. Louis, MS and eventually meeting up witht the Beachcats in the Biloxi/Gulfport area! cheers

Cat Trax - hobie 16/14 - $200 (Flagler Beach)

I'm considering picking these puppies up on my way down to Melbourne, FL. Can someone tell me if these are worth buying? I know that the existing tires are the old version and the tire is vulcanized to the rim. I could try this first: Cat trax tire repair and if it doesn't work, just slip on the new one. If it does work, I have an extra tire to sell or keep for a spare.

Is it terrible that the hub is cracked? Future problems?

Just looking for some advice. I'm short on cash right now and thought this may be a good way to pick up a set of cat trax.

The tire should be no issue if it is just a simple hole. A tire plug will seal that. You might want to check and see if the hub is available for the old cat trax. That hub extends into the wheel and acts as the inner race for the delrin bearings. With the new tire and wheel these are not a bad deal

The old hub is made out of PVC pipe fittings. If it come with the one new new tire and hub then ID go for it. Worst case you buy another new tire/hub for 99 and you have a great set of track for 299.
