Im on the east coast and I can not find rudders for my Sol Cat. Is there a match up of another brand? I would like to find a used set first just to take it out for a season to see how she holds up.

Josh, in Md.

i have hobie 18 rudders on my sol cat and they work just fine. you can find them more easily than solcat rudders.

that's what I was thinking also. did you have to modify it at the connection point or did it go right on?

Thanks for the reply,
Josh

I would try Pete in big Bear lake ca. He has parts for everything pbegle@charter.net

or try

http://www.ms-pyc.com/parts_access/parts.shtml

They list them as in stock but I don't know for sure.

i would put nacra rudders on the solcat over hobie rudders. i have a nacra 18 square and like the rudders much more than the hobie rudders.

Is it possible to get pictures of your set up, especially gudeons and their locations? Are there signs of any modifications like filled holes etc?
