Quick question from a new owner.

Hiya
Just got a used H16. Ive got it mostly figured out... But. It appears the previous owner removed the jib traveler trim system. All of the parts appear to be here and i can see how the lines are set up but where does the shock cord go? Across to the other car or down to the dolphin striker? Also i was wondering if the shock cord is strong enough to hold the cars inboard under sail.
Thanks
Pat

Can be rigged to the other car or the opposite corner casting. By doing the corner casting, if one side blows, you still have the other, and it can have more tension because if both are pulled out, each is own it's own cord.
The jib sheet keeps the car inboard.

Thanks for the info. On this kit it replaces the jib car blocks with cam cleats so the jib sheet goes directly from the car to the jib. It seems to me that the pressure on the jib would stretch the shock cord and allow the cars to shift outboard. Does anybody have experience with this setup?
Thanks
Pat
