looking for a cat i have been eyeing the hobie 16 or nacra 5.0 but i am open to suggestions
sailor stats:
weight:250
experience:1 season but have been sailing for a cuple years
crew: solo

being a big guy, p-16 is a great first cat for you...lighter than h-16 with way more hull...learn that one stem to stern for a couple of seasons and you will be ready. a couple of things to consider, race much?(h-16 has huge fleet racing), mast up storage on beach?(solo mast steping not an issue). if you and another "full grown" crew sail the hobie it can be a bit to much weight for it but solo is a blast! the main factor is whats available and what shape are they in...the old addage "best boat of the bunch for the money" applies here. good luck!

Coastrat is right, I bought a Nacra 5.2, the only reason was that is was a steal. Am learning to sail it and enjoying. But the same could be said about any boat. Lets face it, by reading some of the posts you can tell that you don't have to be a genius to sail.

i was just wornding if there is a part supply for the prindle? i know they dont make the boat any more and is there any thing to look for when buying.
