Looking for advice on a first time boat. Would you recommend the Prindle escape and how much should I pay for one in decent shape?

Yes, I would say so.. it is a Prindle 18 classic with the Prindle 16 mast and mainsail... the jib is a little larger and sits lower with a bridal foil to help the boat turn. The tramp is pretty clean with the job blocks mounted to the front beam.

Seem to recall they built this boat for the resort/hotel rental market - pretty forgiving

As for price, pretty subjective... it is an odd duck boat.. what are they asking for it?

Sad! This valuable resource of information has become an INTOLERABLE cesspool completely ruining the forum experience, and making it unusable!!

In the last 24 hours, I have receive over 200 SPAM emails, yes 200 !!!!! I can't take it anymore! I am left with no choice but to exercise the only option and that is to unsubscribe from the email notifications.

We are witnessing the death of the Beachcats.com.

I'm open to solutions, donations, etc. to see if Damon is interested in his time to get this resolved.
