Speed is hardly the most important.

you have obviously not met any catamaran sailors, speed is everything.... :top:

I would look for a G-cat 5.7 . . This boat will do what you want a speed will be there too.
This boat is available in Destin FL.

Was just reading your post about a 16' cat. You will not be happy with that choice if you put more than 2 people on it. If you don't have 10 + mph the boat will be an anchor. More than that and the bows will stay buried.
