Water proof case?
Where stored?
Accessible when you capsize?
Bandaids and a triangle bandage (cravat), or more?
You or your crew know CPR?
Anything geographical you need, warming packs, snake bite kit, Kraken repellant?

I have had a few times when my medical kit was VERY good to have and have pulled it out for myself or others many times

I carry my kit in a large (cosco size) plastic mayo bottle (very waterproof). This then goes in my dry bag that is attached to the boom or deck (wont do you any good in a hatch if your separated from your cat)

In my kit i carry:
plenty of band-aids, gauze pads, anti-bacterial wipes, latex gloves (incase you need to touch someone else's blood), medical tape, crazy-glue (works great on wounds that are needing stitches), tweezers and a sharp nife.
After slicing my thumb wide open on my sharp traveler track, i now carry Wound Seal (stops bleeding)

I just pulled out my medical kit on Saturday to help a fellow sailor stop the blood flow on a finger he wounded at work that he smacked on something, and couldn't get to stop bleeding
