It's an Android app? I have a Google G1 to try it on.

The sports tracker pro app is awesome...they should have an iphone compatible version...it records all kinds for data for, running, sailing, flying, driving, skiing, cycling, hiking and some others. It also is compatible with some heart rate monitors and it will record all kinds or parameters for exercising. Highly recommended. $8 approx

Also saved our rear(s) big time was the Navionics chart app. Very accurate, included wind forecast, waypoints etc. This really saved the trip....long story. $15 approx

Well on a monohull you do have a blender, so dont really miss much by losing 10-15 mph. Without the blender, dreadfully slow.

The sail down was great out in the ocean it was a 12-15 kt STEADY breeze, one tack for 16 miles...had the rail/gunwale buried most of the time, but it was comfortable.
