Launch from your camp site. No beach wheels needed. State park campground. Site can be reserved.
I slept on the tramp in the nice Gulf breeze.

It was nice but slow, and one side was an ugly yellow. The owner had to sell it so he could buy a N20 just to be faster then me.
Gulf State Park? But where is the launch ramp?
Not Gulf State Park and no boat ramp. Just back the trailer through the campsite to the edge of the water and slide the boat off. Sail 1 mile to the Gulf of Mexico, or stay in the big bay

Where did you get that tent Andrew, the yellow one? I couldn't help but notice Northwest Territory. I spent years up there in my youth as a bush pilot, flying floatplanes. It is several million square miles with only about 1000 miles of roads. Millions of lakes, most of which were cold, great fishing, bad swimming. Lots of grizzly/polar/black bears, caribou, etc and generally no rules, or anyone around to enforce them. The total population was only about 40 thousand, & though there were some sail clubs in the only 2 towns with more than 4000 people, I never saw any Cats. Windsurfing was pretty popular then.

I know EXACTLY where coastrat's and Steve's/Philip's sites are. Butch, neither is too far from you, and I am willing to spill the beans. However, I am a fair person, so here are the rules...
Butch is at a disadvatage, so costrat, Steve, and Philip must make the first hush money bid, then Butch can offer a counter-bribe and so on, back and forth. I'll check back in to see who won and set the drop point (small, unmarked, non-sequential bills) after my vacation next week.

O.K. I'll play.
Rather than a hush money bid, why not a blackmail offer, of say . . . not to publish pictures of you as Popeye the Sailor Man with Olive Oyl at CATCAPER!
Your turn Butch . . .

looks like ther perfect horn island day, light chop, w/sw winds around 10-12kts. might even run across some free oil. useualy they charge for it but they have a promotion going on right now so its free! you can suck up and refine all you want, very generous those folks at bp.

made horn after going through maze of oil booms out of biloxi bay. awesome day, winds steady out of w/sw good 10-12kts til 2pm then 14-18. came back by the light house at warp speed. hated to leave, winds still blowing. tides have been real low lately, not so bad for my 16 but could be work for a bigger boat for sure. we have gotten stuck a time or two loading out, sand was wet today so no problems. counted 24 big shrimp boats at west end of horn today anchored up, my buddy said they were "skimming" for oil, i was hoping they were fishing. saw no oil all day.
