This is interesting, the Carlyle Sailing Association is looking for a "live in" Harbormaster.

Job comes with a house on the lake. I may check to see how good of an Internet Connection they offer!

If they have good Internet, do you think they would let you have time off for Slip to Ship, Island Hop and Juana's?

HaHa, that would be the downside, weekends like that would also be the busiest at the club.

That is a beautiful spot - we sailed an F18 nationals out of there several years ago. There is one oddity, though, the water gets really, really, hard sometimes.

Saw the worst T-bone ever on that lake. A Nacra 5.8 and a Prindle 19 became one floating entity for a while. Not sure who won the protest, but they were still trying to separate the two boats when we left for home.
