After the Juana Good Time Regatta I left my Hobie 18 with a fiberglass pro to have some old damage re-repaired as well as getting a bottom job and daggers spiffed up. Heading down to pick it up in Gulf Breeze this weekend so I think I'll give it a test sail at the public launch near Key Sailing (the launch just past the toll booths as you enter Pensacola Beach).

Anyone up for some white sand sailing this weekend? Weather looks to be beautiful.

Easy launching and room for lots of boats.

Leaving now, probably coming back Monday but could stay longer if the weather is really nice. 😀

Not sure if you can do that. But a way to find out would be to call Key Sailing which is basically right next door (short walk) and ask them OR ask them if you could leave a boat on their beach....this area is referred to as "Quietwater Beach".
