i have a free round trip ticket to the continental U.S. since the sailing season up here is gone i was wondering if there was anyplace in Florida i could rent a sailboat. just a one man boat i don't even care how many hulls. preferably close to Ft. Myers but not essential. i looked online but couldn't find any wet boats. i would appreciate anyone's input, thanks

The Islander also has a Nacra 6.0 to rent for "well qualified" sailors. πŸ˜‰

If your at work turn your speakers off before clicking on this link, unless your boss doesn't mind calypso music!

The Islander Resort is the starting point for the Tybee 500 so I was their in May, it's really nice.

If you can't go that far south then Key Sailing in Pensacola Beach is about as Cat-friendly as it gets.

http://www.keysailing.com

Lots of room at the Islander to store and launch your own cat and they don't mind you bringing your own boat. Not many resorts like that.

Kevin, the race season is about to kick off down here in fl. there are many many races and i am sure if you try... you can find a cat to crew on.

i would suggest searching NOR's on this site and other sites and asking around if anyone needs crew...
