In the forum for Juanas Regatta there was some discussion about the rules of racing. As a newbie to racing, I thought this video might help others. Nice simple video. The courses you'll see in beachcat races are a little different (usually no B mark) and we generaly don't race dead down wind from A to C but in general good info.

Not to be picky but that is the 2012 version. Most of the rules are similar but some have changed. Is there a 2012 to15 version? HTH, R

Boy did I ever find that out last weekend! By the end of the racing unfortunately... Got a tip from a fellow racer yelled to me as I was crossing the finish line. "Hey Ron! These cats don't like to go straight downwind!"
(Go figure...)
