One of life’s greatest pleasures must be unboxing a new set of rigging! I experienced this twice this week thanks to Aquarius Sail (SC-17) and Murray’s (Nacra 5.7). I’ve never had brand new rigging before! I’ve never had brand new sails either and that may be remedied later in the summer.
new rigging is a smart thing to invest in and should provide lots of piece of mind
new sails is pure bliss (as long as they are made right) -

Piece of mind from new rigging is a true thing. Knock on fiberglass or aluminum or stainless steel that everything else is ok too!
I put new rigging on the 5.7 last year. Would love to upgrade the sails.
Did you ever put on the decals?
Well Tom, after I got the decals is when my boat got creamed by the mowers at the lake. For only a few hundred more than the basic repair (paid for by the mower guy) I was able to get a full awlgrip paint job, forward decks faired smooth, and hydro turf. Boat is now ice blue awlgrip. I’m not sure how the decals are gonna look but I may try them out soon.
