I've searched around but can't find the torque spec. for the bolt that holds the front crossbeam to my N 5.5, not the straps that secure it on top. I found references to the strap bolts that say between 16-18 lbs., but not for the bolt inside the crossbeam. When I was unscrewing it, it felt like a LOT more than 18 lbs.

Thanks!

I don't think there are any. I always torqued mine to 16-18 lbs just like the straps.

The purpose of it is so that the main beam does not rotate. This took the place of using the pipe down the middle of the tramp like on the 5.2. On the 5.2, when people removed the pipe, many just popped a rivet
thru the strap and the beam.
