Mystere 6.0

OUCH!
Andrew is that your friends boat, the fellow who took his power boat to the camping Island?
There is a complete 6.0 here, good parts boat, but it looks like they let is snow load & crunched the hulls, photo #2 appears to be starboard hull unfortunately.

Here is a literal translation;
Catamaran Mystery 6.0 (2002) for sale
Iphone repair, 4 holes about 12'' x 18''
trailer included
Sailing in good condition
When I was looking for my 6.0XL, I came across a 5.5. on Lake Erie. I was asking about parts availability, & that owner told me of another Mystere that had been caught in the ice & broke 1 hull. I can't remember if it was another 5.5 or a 6.0, or which hull got trashed.
I'll email the fellow & find out...might take a few days, they are making me go back to work after a month off.

Shallow water pitch pole starboard hull hit bottom. I thought everything was fine and started to sail again and a heard a funny sound noticed fiberglass in the water and saw the bow was missing. I was pushing it too hard once again. A costly mistake for sure.

Take a look here. http://www.teamseacats.com/category/composite-works/page/3/ That should give some pointers on getting started. Luckily your damage is so far forward that you don't need to worry about too many loads. I would figure out how to tape your nose cone back to the bow and then repair one side at a time.

The shape of the mystere bow create loads that caused this to happen before(kiwi Chris did this during a Hogsbreath 100). plus add the loads from tthe spin bridle. If you could glass in some horizontal stringers(trianglular in form, foam wrapped in glass) thru the bulkhead and anchore to the hull or all the way back to the next bulk head(there are about 7 bulkheads in a mystere hull) you could support the bow being reattached.
