Magic Marine Pro Harness Opinions

So close to getting back on the water now! Pretty much just the trapeze harness to go. I'm quite taken with the Magic Marine Pro harness and wondered if anyone had anything good or bad to say about them.

Background: I'm purely a recreational sailor, but may get into some racing at some point. For me the critical requirements are comfort, back support and durability. I'm definitely a full harness guy, and declared myself a nappy-free-zone a long time ago. Murray's has the Magic Marine for $199 which seems like a pretty good deal.

Thoughts? Any advice on sizing? Or anyone in the Sarasota/Tampa area know a dealer where I can try one? Google isn't helping me much there.

Thanks!

Get someone to let you try the Zhik harness. No straps, no buckles, and plenty of room for the boyz.

Looks nice, but I'm trying to keep the budget at or below $200k. Looks like the Zhik goes for $285+.

I resisted spending the money onthe Zhik for a long time, used a magic marine bucket harness that I really liked. I have not regretted buying the Zhik one bit, it's top notch. I got mine for less than $285 not too long ago.

A single handed adjustment and wide, load bearing spreader bar make this trapeze harness easy to use, while being supportive and comfortable.
Info:
Color: Carbon

Unisex Adjustment: Single handed adjustment, side release buckle on shoulder strap
Support: Removable/adjustable stiffened lumbar support, single handed tension lock at waist adjustment.
Other: Neoprene padding on shoulder straps for comfort and support, wide load bearing spreader bar, 1200D abrasion resistant seat and side panels, side panel pocket covers webbing adjustment and storage of loose ends, abrasion resistant neoprene crotch for additional comfort, internal pocket for tools like the Gill Harness Rescue Tool.

Note: My son wears this harness for 5 hours every summer in the Tri-Point Race in the Pacific, off Ventura, CA. He says it is comfortable and adjustable.
