This is my first time doing this race and would like to know how everyone else is launching their boats at the start and having their trailers waiting at the finish for the trip home. Thanks,

I have done the race before. The launching area is pretty cluttered but with some patience.... everyone gets in. You should have a driver to transport your trailer to the Rudder Club up in south Jax. It would be wise to have cell phones too. Note on maps where you can get to your trailer along the route in case you have equipment failures.
The pre race meeting will give you all the info you need to do this with the least of frustration. There are a lot of boats of all kinds that do this race. It is a beautiful thing to see, especially on a sunny morning.
Hotel rooms are usually filled up in Palatka and the closest other town with adequate lodging is Green Cove Springs 30 miles north.
