Here's a video of my N20 made recently with my girl.

Daniel- great vid, thanks for sharing.

I have to compliment your crew. Great extension on the wire, wide stance and she knows where to be to balance the boat. She doesn't hang on to the trap handle, always has a sheet in her hand and can drive!
She obviously loves to sail.
Looks like a keeper to me.

Thanks for the encouragement Klozhald, I'll pass your feedback on to her she'll like hearing that. She is good and getting better, and does love sailing.

Here is my Solcat 18 on Lake Michigan beach

These hulls spend 25+ years hanging from the rafters until I found them...

Northwest wind, it's getting colder here...

Jib - casulty of 30 mpg wind, we are coming in...

Uwe, even with a substantial crew on the front crossbar, you are still popping a wheelie over that wave. Looks like you are sailing in the Washing Machine Nationals. Is this from the Texas coast?

Bob, that was from the 2012 Dash, the 4th leg of the Great Texas 300. We were working our way out thru the surf. First time away from the lake for me. I was kind of nervous at first but it was easier than I thought. Seeing 3 water spouts in the morning had me worried too.

Start: (including some other folks from TBC)

And the finish:

Look at the CAT that followed me home this weekend! And Momma said I could keep her. 23 hours and 600 miles..... new bearings, new tires while we worked in the Wisconsin cold next to an aircraft hanger and her trailer made it home without excitement.
It is a '84 5.7 that needs a bit of TLC.

You guys are the best at helping newbies find the right ride. I'm confident I did good!
Thanks Comrades!

At 2:00 I am the yellow sail starting. Made it halfway before getting calmed, caught in a thunderstorm gust front, and aggravating a shoulder injury caused us to retire. The waterspouts were pretty cool.

H16 with comp tip, EPO gen 1 rudders, furling jib my son doesn't race so it's all good. This boat is an older model but it takes anything Lake Ontario can throw at it.

We are not ready to give up the ghost and headed out on Lake Michigan on November 10. Everything was good until a trap line broke. Thank goodness we had the camera rolling. Pg13 rating due to language.

Now that's a good sailing buddy you got there, he actually reached out a hand to help. When I fall off, mine just runs over the top of me and hopes I grab the dolphin striker or something...
Cool video

Do you have "Wild Turkey"? Or is it on the want list? Where is it?
