I will be moving to Columbia and am looking for any recommendations for a good saling club that has mast up storage for my H18.

Thank you!

We recently had a regatta at the Columbia sailing club. Its a nice facility. There is not much cat sailing on Murray though.

Hey you'll be right down the road from me, about 30-40 minutes! Not far from where you picked up those cat trax. There's no cat sailing on my lake either, but we can get together for sure if you want. When are you coming?

Welcome. Two sailing Clubs here in Columbia on Lake Murray. Either offers Mast up storage. Columbia Sailing Club is the largest with newest facility, nice beach and ramp. We hold one annual Regatta for Multihulls in September every year. Lake Murray Sail Club is also an option, although no one actually races cats out of there anymore. Most of the racing on Lake Murray is done through LMYRA ( www.lmyra.org ) LMYRA coordinates both club's events & uses CSC as a gateway to the lake for all their events. Send me an e-mail, I'll be glad to hook you up.
All the local events are posted through EMSA eastern multihull sailing association. http://www.emsa-sailing.org/ and catamarancrazy on yahoo groups.

Thank you for your replies, sorry for my delay, been a little busy with the new job.

Hi Mac! I am in Columbia now, but the boat is in Knoxville. Really need a place to keep it here. I am living for a while in a condo next to Williams Brice until the whole family moves. Would like to be able to store it somewhere low cost, mast up would be a huge bonus.

Cary - Thank you, I did visit the Lake Murray Sailing Club. Nice place and closer to my budget but still trying to keep the cost down. Did you mean LMSC.com? lmyra.com does not seem to be a working site.
