Great deal on new sails

Well after scouring the net for months trying to find the best deal on a new set of sails for my Hobie 16, I finally found a deal that CAN'T be beat.
I ordered them Monday and just recieved them today from Kelly-Hanson sails.

They have them in stock and shipping from Colorado to Florida was lightning fast.
Cost was $625 for new main, jib and shipping. WOW!
I spent the afternoon after getting them getting my battens setup and plan on sailing tomorrow. I can hardly wait.
Anyway, for all my searching, after finding Kelly Hanson, I wanted to find some reviews for their sails and how people liked/disliked them. I could find NONE.
Tomorrow will tell. Wind is forecast for 15 knots and be a good sea trial for the new sails.
I'll post to let ya'll know how they are and finally get some reviews out there on them.
Eat, sleep, sail

Alrighty then! In my previous post I promised a review of the new H16 sails from Kelly Hanson I recieved yesterday.
The verdict? Two VERY enthusiastic thumbs up. I couldn't be happier and could kick myself in the ass for not doing this last season.
I should have known better to. 3 years ago I replaced my sails on my Hunter 25 and found the same thing out with those. The difference was HUGE.
The responsiveness and sensitivity of even the slightest tweak of sail trim was downright shocking compared to my old sails.
Money very well spent!!!
Eat, sleep, sail

i recently bought a h16 set from kelly hanson. there great for how much they cost, although i really have nothing to compair them to. the only problem that i had with them is the grommits for the batton ties on the jib sail were about twice the size as the hobie ones. this caused my jib to hang up more on my halyards. after anough hang ups a couple of grommits pulled out of the sail. to them to the sail shop and had them repaired and had them put in smaller grommits. they work fine now.

I wish I would have found out about that place sooner. I just purchased my square top sail for a Nacra 6.0 from EP sails...........it was very over priced......did not like the way the mailed it to me......they did not put wind indicators on the sail, and there were a few places that I had to add sail tape.........which is frustrating considering I paid over 2k for this sail........NOT HAPPY......

I don't know anything about the sails you got from EP but keep in mind that the KH budget sails are built with one goal in mind, lowest price. I'm glad they exist, because even bottom end new sails are a great improvement over very old ones, but they can't be compared with factory or top-brand sails.
I once bought a Hobie 18 jib from a place called Super Sailmakers, used it for years but it wasn't built or finished like a factory sail. The price was good but the reason I bought it at the time was that Hobie didn't build a solid blue jib.
