Just wanted to give a shout out to member Andy Lundstrum (havliii) for providing some really nice pictures and documents for the G-Cat 5.7 which are now available here.

I bet some of you out there have info like this that would be of great benefit to other beachcat sailors. If you do, especially hard to find brands and obscure boats please let me know. If you have printed material and can't get it scanned I would be glad to scan it for you and return the originals.
TheBeachcats.com's original purpose was as an archive for tips and material just like this. I'd like to end up with info on every production beachcat ever produced. I know the info is out there, we have just got to dig it out of the closets, file cabinets, basements, and attics where it is hidden.
Oh, and if looking at the G-Cat pictures gets you in the mood to buy, Andy happens to have a sweet one for sale right now.

There are scans of the G-Cat 5.0 setup diagram that could be included in that entry at http://www.thebeachcats.com/forums/viewtopic/topic/11348. Hopefully I can get around to scanning the assembly manual for the 5.0 eventually.
I've put a postabout my quest for more info on G-Cats in june. Many thanks for the very clear high-res scans of the 5.7 to Mr; Lundstrum.
Would it please - please - please be possible to include the same high-res quality scans of the 5.0 in the beachcats identification ?
Rigging my G-Cat 5.0 is still problematical.

those are the only 5.0 scans I've got but it looks like arichbourg has a printed 5.0 assembly manual. arichbourg please scan this if you can and either upload it to a folder in the G-Cat 5.0 album or email it to me to post.
