Can't find this video. There was a video link somewhere in there these forums with two guys in full dry suits sailing what looked like a 5.7 Nacra. They were sailing somewhere cold with seals on ice and extremely heavy wind at times. At one point they were sailing with the mainsail only halfway reefed and still tipping over. If someone could post this link or tell me where to find it I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

In this video, those guys are sailing along the coast of South America. At every stop they have beach wheels. Maybe this is a dumb question, but how is this accomplished? Do they carry them with them on the boats?

Do they carry them with them on the boats?

Yes, at the 1:45 mark you can see the Cat trax strapped across the tramp.

That is a custom 21? Wings and beams don't look like a 21. Guess that is the definition of custom, but surprised by the differences. Cool boat and video either way.

Was the video you are looking for have 2 guys taking off in a catamaran and occasionally getting stuck on the ice while sailing? I think they ultimately hit a sea wall on the way in.

Thanks!

I believe that video was a Prindle, maybe Google Prindle/ice or something. I can't do it here, the GreatChinese Firewall blocks Google.
