Hello all. Long time lurker, first time poster. I am going to Maui in a few weeks and would love to rent a hobie cat or similar boat but I am unable to find anything at all on Maui for cat sailing. Does anyone know of anywhere on Maui that I could rent a cat for an hour or two with my wife? West Maui Sailing Center has a Getaway but they dont rent it without an instructor (and he’s not available this month). I’ve heard some hotels have hobie waves or something available but I can’t find any info about those either. Any locals know of any other ways (besides google searching) to find a sail boat? Thanks for any leads!

I was in Maui earlier this year and couldn't find any small cats. With the wind on the north shore, it would have been a kick.
tell the maui place you have a sailing resume and will leave a security deposit when you rent the boat..and you'll sign a waiver... they must have other marina dudes on jet skiis anyway that can keep on eye on the rogue texan... good luck.
