My buddy Lance and I are planning a sail and camping trip to Cayo Costa State Park,Florida March 13 to the 18th. We will sail down from about 50 mile north of the state park Monday the 12th. I am sailing my Hobie 21SE and Lance will be on his O'day 22.We will met up with a group of other sailboats.
If anyone else wants to join in than make some reservation. 😎
Just looked at the Google aerial views of the island, looks like paradise. The houses on that island have the best setup for house and dock I've seen. You get the Gulf front home directly on the beach, facing West into the sunset, then also they have private docks on the other (sheltered) side of the island.
Aren't the beaches around there 100% shells?

I undersatnd that shell hunting is what people do on the islands there. My shell collection is almost too intense to add more to and so is my arrowhead collection ( two 5 gallon buciets) I intend to sail and feast all week long. Hopefully make new freinds and chill out too... 😎
