Posted a story at http://www.thebeachcats.com/Article327.html with more info.

New club is beautiful, and there is still time for early registration (save $10) by May 15th.

Will you be there?

Robbie will be there (plus he will be making a cajun dinner for Saturday night). Local sailor Missy Allen is making all of our awards.

We will also have many door prizes for the sailors as well as an excellent raffle with some pretty high end stuff.

Remember that today is the last day for early registration. AS long as you send your check today and email me the completed application, you will save $10.00.

Heya Ken,

Snail mailed both yesterday. Just consider the extra
saw buck as a donation to help Jim how to sail a 'real'
catamaran 😉 See y'all on the beach 🙂

Can't wait to get down to Ocean Springs, the constant rain here in Memphis over the last month has really got me down.

Steve. YOu are right. While we were concerned about the front over Florida developing...that has fizzled out. Over the past 24 hours, both the wind and wave forecasts have decreased to very managable and fast sailing conditions. While we will probably get a little wet on Saturday...the ride will be worth it.

Also, I wanted to share with the racers that we will have great sailor door prizes and an incredible raffle Saturday night including for example: Ruth Chris Steak House, APS, West Marine, IP Casino...to name a few. The Grand Prize is a two night stay at a swank resort in Destin, FL with a fishing trip (or round of golf) for two. That is a $900 package. I am stoked.

I hope that everyone will make it.

Here is the most recent update....the forecasted winds are getting much better but the chance of rain is pretty high on Saturday......damn the torpedos.....full steam ahead.
