Chesapeake Challenge (Unofficial)
Is anyone interested in testing route:
1. Havre de Grace MD to Norfolk approximately 200 mi, or
2. Havre de Grace MD to Norfolk & return to Havre de Grace- approximately 400 mi
Time frame: May or first of June before doldrums hit.
There's camping along the way or hotels. Stopping points TBD. There some beach access, for draining hulls and regrouping etc.
No rules, aside from collecting at stopping points, or sail straight through, and any rules formulated are decided by participants. No entrance fees.
(Just too far to go to Everglades Challenge and yes I'm familiar with the other Chesapeake 200 miler race)
Let me know your interest/ dates you could do it or any ideas you might have.
Thanks
BB
Here's an idea. Leave Havre de Grace to reach this race on June 20. http://www.thebeachcats.com/forums/viewtopic/topic/15471
