Very long distance race starts and ends at the Fort Walton Yacht Club (FWYC) located on the Choctawhatchee Bay in Florida. The race is half in the open Gulf of Mexico and half in the Intercoastal Waterway, circumnavigating Okaloosa and Santa Rosa Islands along the way. Beautiful place to sail.
